Privacy Policy for ISGenius & SOLLEN Technologies

1. Introduction & Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the ISGenius mobile application and related web services operated by SOLLEN Technologies(Sollen Akıllı Sistemler ve Bilişim Teknolojileri, "we", "us", or "our"), incubated at Sabancı University SUCool, Istanbul, Turkey.

ISGenius is designed as a workplace safety, disaster management, and emergency response platform. Because our application protects human life during critical situations, we collect only necessary data with strict security measures, in full compliance with the Google Play Developer Distribution Agreement, GDPR, and Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK).

2. Data We Collect & How We Use It

• Precise and Approximate Location Data: ISGenius accesses your device’s location to calculate safe evacuation paths to designated muster points and verify employee safety during drills or actual emergency events.
• Background Location Access: In order to provide prompt emergency assistance during active incident alerts, ISGenius may collect location data even when the app is closed or not in active use, specifically to verify that personnel have arrived at outdoor safe assembly areas. Users are always prompted with explicit runtime permissions.
• Account & Profile Information: Name, work email address, company or facility identifier, and job function.
• Emergency Contact & Health Details (Optional): Emergency contact telephone numbers, blood type, and critical health disclosures provided voluntarily to assist first responders in triage.
• Device & Diagnostic Information: Device model, operating system version, and crash logs to maintain offline-first synchronization and application stability.

3. Offline-First Data Storage

ISGenius is engineered with an offline-first architecture. In the event of network disruption or power failure during natural disasters, critical evacuation guides, facility maps, and emergency instructions remain cached locally on your device without transmitting data externally until connectivity is restored.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We never sell, rent, or monetize your personal data. Data is shared strictly with:

• Designated emergency coordinators and safety officers within your subscribing enterprise.
• Official emergency services (such as 112 or certified rescue responders) when an active SOS is triggered.
• Secure cloud infrastructure providers adhering to ISO 27001 and SOC 2 security standards.

5. Data Retention & Account Deletion Requests

We retain user records only as long as necessary to fulfill occupational health and safety compliance requirements or as instructed by the enterprise account administrator.

In accordance with Google Play data safety policies, users have the right to request deletion of their account and all associated personal data at any time by emailing us at info@sollen.com.tr with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Requests are verified and processed within 30 days.

6. Security Measures

All data transmitted between the ISGenius mobile client and our servers is encrypted using industry-standard TLS (HTTPS). Sensitive fields (such as health profiles) are encrypted at rest using AES-256 standards.
